Welcome! 

 I am absolutely thrilled to be a teacher at Hoggard High School! Although this is my ninth year at Hoggard, it is my 28th year as a North Carolina teacher.  I taught in Greensboro for the first 20 years of my career and moved to Wilmington eight years ago.  I grew up in Maryland and went to Western Maryland College.  I majored in Communications with a Business Administration emphasis.  Several years after that, I attended Troy State in Alabama where I received my Master's Degree in Special Education.  I married my "college sweetheart", Bruce, and we had three kids.  My kids are now grown and independent. My oldest son, Justin, is an attorney for AT&T, my middle child, Brandon, is a manager at our family smoothie shop, and my daughter, Jenna, is a school psychologist.  I have four incredible grandchildren.
